About us

LTD "Surdovest" - the beginning of the surdological and vestibular rehabilitation center was created in the early nineties. Professor of Medicine Osvalds Plēpis, who at that time already had 40 years of medical practice, opened a private practice together with his son, Dr. Aivars Plēpis. In his practice, the doctor uses both traditional and holistic or alternative treatment methods. Dr. Plēpis is a member of the Latvian Association of Holistic Medicine and Naturopathy. One of the most effective treatment methods is acupuncture, or acupuncture. This is also done with the help of a laser. Special needles work on specific points in the body to treat and relieve pain. Acupuncture can regulate metabolism, treat obesity or cellulite. Aivars Plepis also has a certificate from a physical and rehabilitation medicine doctor.
