| Goals | veicināt, atbalstīt un veikt starpkultūru pētījumus. Starpkultūru izpēte ir jauna joma, kas mēģina rast atbildes uz problēmām, kuras mūsdienu sabiedrībai izvirza globalizācijas procesi. Izpētes mērķis ir veidot labāku izpratni par kultūru dažādību, kas var mainīt sabiedrības pasaules uzskatu. Savā teorētiskajos un konceptuālajos ietvaros starpkultūru izpēte sevī ietver vairākas disciplīnas, kā piemēram, vēsturi, antropoloģiju, socioloģiju, komunikāciju, lingvistiku, literatūru, mākslu, filozofiju un politikas zinātnes. Starpkultūru jomas izpēte veido stabilu pamatojumu, kas palīdz veiksmīgi darboties izglītībā, mākslā, dibināt starptautiskos sakarus, veidot sabiedrības dzīvi un kārtot biznesa jautājumus. Darbība starpkultūru jomā palīdz dziļāk saprast un izzināt kultūru dažādību un uzturēt starpkultūru dialoga iespējas, bagātinot katras iesaistītās puses pieredzi un bieži vien pozitīvā virzienā mainot sabiedrības uzskatus un noraidot pieņemtos stereotipus. Biedrības mērķis ir sabiedriskā labuma darbība izglītības, zinātnes un kultūras jomās. |
