Saglabāt liecības par vēsturisko 1990.gada 21. aprīļa notikumu “Tautas sapulce 1990” - Vislatvijas vietējo pašvaldību deputātu sapulci, kuras 8086 delegāti deva Tautas mandātu LPSR Augstākajai padomei atjaunot Latvijas Republikas neatkarību, kā arī saglabāt citas liecības par pašvaldību nozīmi Latvijas Republikas izveidē. Veicināt nodibinājuma “Tautas sapulces mantojums” izveidi un darbību, vēsturiskās 1990.gada 21.aprīļa tautas sapulces mantojuma saglabāšanai un popularizēšanai. Biedrības darbība ir vērsta uz cilvēktiesību un indivīda tiesību aizsardzību, pilsoniskas sabiedrības attīstību, tiesiskuma stiprināšanu, zinātnes un kultūras veicināšanu. |
