| Goals | Veicināt laikmetīgās vizuālās mākslas un citu aktuālās kultūras jomu attīstībai labvēlīgu apstākļu radīšanu Latvijā, veicinot kultūras procesus Latvijas sabiedrībā. Par labvēlīgiem apstākļiem uzskatāma konstruktīva sadarbība starp visām laikmetīgās kultūras procesā iesaistītajām sabiedrības grupām un institūcijām: māksliniekiem, kuratoriem, producentiem, auditoriju, muzejiem, galerijām, izstāžu zālēm, koncertzālēm, valsts kultūras politiku veidojošām institūcijām, kultūras mecenātiem un citiem. Mērķa ietvaros biedrības uzdevums ir laikmetīgās mākslas un kultūras procesu apzināšana, izvērtēšana un informācijas apmaiņa, iekļaujot Latvijas šodienas kultūras norises Eiropas un pasaules mākslas norišu kontekstā. Mērķu sasniegšanai biedrība realizē noteiktas aktivitātes, tajā skaitā izstādes, konkursus, festivālus, izglītojošus pasākumus, izdod publikācijas, uztur informācijas apmaiņas platformas (interneta vietnes, regulāras publikācijas, u.tml.), veicina mecenātu piesaistīšanu māksliniekiem un laikmetīgās mākslas un kultūras projektiem. |
