| Goals | Apvienība apņemas veicināt izmeklējošās žurnālistikas attīstību Latvijā un nodrošināt sabiedrības informēšanu par sabiedriski nozīmīgiem faktiem, kā arī: 1. veikt neatkarīgus žurnālistiskus izmeklējumus ar mērķi atklāt noziedzīgus nodarījumus un citus likumpārkāpumus valsts institūciju dienestā, valsts ieņēmumu un muitas lietu jomā, pret dabas vidi, pret cilvēci un mieru, tostarp nodarījumus, kas saistīti ar terorismu, pret valsti, vispārējo drošību un sabiedrisko kārtību, pret jurisdikciju, pret personas pamattiesībām un pamatbrīvībām, pret īpašumu, kā arī citus sabiedriski nozīmīgus noziedzīgus nodarījumus un likumpārkāpumus, informējot sabiedrību par konstatētajiem faktiem un apstākļiem; 2. stiprināt vārda un preses brīvību; 3. aizsargāt žurnālistu profesionālās tiesības un likumīgās intereses; 4. izstrādāt un uzturēt izmeklējošās žurnālistikas profesionālos un ētiskos standartus; 5. nodrošināt apmācības, seminārus un profesionālās pilnveides pasākumus; 6. veicināt sadarbību starp žurnālistiem, juristiem, detektīviem, pētniekiem un ekspertiem; 7. publicēt izmeklēšanas rezultātus plašsaziņas līdzekļos un digitālajās platformās. |
