Koordinēti un saskaņoti informēt psihiskās veselības jomā strādājošos speciālistus (psihologus, psihoterapeitus, ārstus un citus interesentus) par Emocijfokusētu terapiju (EFT) kā mūsdienu progresīvu psihoterapijas virzienu, kas var sniegt būtisku ieguldījumu un atbalstu Latvijas iedzīvotāju psihiskās veselības stiprināšanā. 2. Veicināt EFT attīstību un ilgtspēju Latvijā, sekmējot EFT terapeitu izglītību, profesionālo kvalitāti, atbildību pret sabiedrību, kā arī sabiedrības izpratni par EFT. 3. Veicināt profesionālās zināšanas, kompetences un labās prakses attīstību biedru vidū. 4. Veicināt to, ka biedru profesionālā darbība tiek īstenota saskaņā ar tās izstrādāto sertifikācijas un ētikas kodeksu, ievērojot klientu, kolēģu un sabiedrības intereses. 5. Organizēt izglītojošus pasākumus, seminārus, konferences, apmācības un meistarklases, lai veicinātu biedru profesionālo prasmju un kompetenču attīstību un stiprināšanu. 6. Sekmēt sadarbību starp nozares speciālistiem, institūcijām un starptautiskajiem partneriem. 7. Popularizēt EFT sabiedrībā, veicinot izpratni, informētību un pieejamību. 8. Veicināt un atbalstīt pētniecību EFT jomā Latvijā un sadarbībā ar starptautiskajiem sadarbības partneriem. 9. Pārstāvēt biedru intereses valsts, pašvaldību un citās institūcijās gan Latvijā, gan ārpus tās (piem., starptautiskajās konferencēs, Starptautiskajā EFT asociācijā (IsEFT) u.c.). 10. Sadarboties ar citu valstu EFT asociācijām un saistītām organizācijām. 11. Rūpēties par EFT prestižu Latvijā, uzraugot EFT terapeita nosaukuma un ar EFT saistītu terminu lietošanu atbilstoši izstrādātajiem EFT speciālistu kvalifikācijas kritērijiem un standartiem. 12. Veikt citas ar biedrības mērķu sasniegšanu saistītas darbības, kas nav pretrunā ar Latvijas Republikas normatīvajiem aktiem. |
