| Goals | 1. Sekmēt uz zinātniskiem pierādījumiem balstītu dzīvnieku asistētās terapijas un dzīvnieku asistēto pedagoģisko risinājumu ieviešanu pedagoģiskajā un terapeitiskajā darbā. 2. Apvienot personas ar unikālām zināšanām un pieredzi dzīvnieku asistētās terapijas, psiholoģijas, pedagoģijas, etoloģijas un citās saistītajās jomās, lai veidotu un īstenotu patiesi kvalitatīvas dzīvnieku asistētās intervences programmas, kurās apvienotas uz pierādījumiem balstītas zināšanas un praktiskā darba pieredze; 3. Piedalīties sabiedrības veselības veicināšanas un izglītības politikas plānošanas, ieviešanas un izvērtēšanas procesos, sekmējot dzīvnieku asistēto pedagoģisko un terapeitisko risinājumu iekļaušanu garīgās veselības profilaksē, rehabilitācijā, sociālajā darbā un izglītībā; 4. Attīstīt sinerģiju starp pētniecību un praksi, tādējādi sekmējot pētniecības, zināšanu koģenerācijas, praktiskās un izglītojošās darbības sasaisti ieviešot dzīvnieku asistētās terapijas un dzīvnieku asistētos pedagoģiskos risinājumus. |
