Biedrības darbības vispārīgais mērķis ir pārstāvēt Brazīlijā dzīvojošās latviešu diasporas intereses Eiropas mērogā, sekmējot sadarbību izglītības, sporta, uzņēmējdarbības un kultūras jomās un sadarbības projektu veicināšana starp biedru organizācijām, kā arī ar radniecīgām citu tautību emigrantu organizācijām; 2. Brazīlijas latviešu un Latvijas kultūras sakaru uzturēšana un veicināšana; 3. Partnerattiecību organizēšana starp Latvijas un Brazīlijas kultūras iestādēm, uzņēmumiem, tūrisma firmām, presi, radio, televīziju; 4. Veicināt sadarbību ar diasporu kopienām un organizācijām, īstenojot kopējas iniciatīvas, kas vērstas uz saiknes stiprināšanu ar Latviju, t.sk., zināšanu pārnesi, projektu īstenošanu un dialoga veidošanu starp Latvijas un diasporas profesionāļiem un sabiedrību kultūras jomā; 5. Attīstīt sadarbību ar citām diasporas biedrībām un nodibinājumiem kopīgu projektu īstenošanā gan vietējā, gan starptautiskajā mērogā; 6. Sniegt ieguldījumu sabiedrības labumam, veicinot pilsoniski atbildīgas jaunatnes attīstību; 7.
