| Goals | Organizēt un radīt nepieciešamos apstākļus zemūdens sporta un zemūdens darbības attīstībai Latvijā; Nodrošināt zemūdens sporta un zemūdens darbības vienotību un aizsargāt tās materiālās un morālās intereses Latvijas Republikā; panākt individuālo un kolektīvo biedru vienotību jautājumos, kurus tai federācijas biedri ir uzticējuši; Veicināt un popularizēt zemūdens sportu; organizēt zemūdens sporta pasākumus, radīt pilsoņiem iespējas nodarboties ar zemūdens sportu un cita veida zemūdens darbību, veicinot cilvēka vispusīgu un garīgu attīstību; nodrošināt Latvijas izlases komandu un pārstāvju sekmīgu piedalīšanos Pasaules un Eiropas čempionātos, kā arī citās starptautiskajās sacensībās; nodrošināt valsts čempionātu un citu sacensību rīkošanu; Apstiprināt un izdot zemūdens sporta sacensību noteikumus un citus ar zemūdens sportu saistītus materiālus; Veikt pasākumus treneru, tiesnešu, zemūdens instruktoru un zemūdens peldētāju sagatavošanā un kvalifikācijas celšanā; pārstāvēt Latvijas zemūdens sportu Latvijas Valsts sporta pārvaldē, Latvijas sporta federāciju padomē un citās organizācijās; Pārstāvēt Latvijas Republikas intereses Starptautiskajās zemūdens sporta organizācijās, veicināt un pārraudzīt to starptautiskos sakarus; Piešķirt zemūdens sporta kvalifikācijas pakāpes un kategorijas; iepazīstināt Federācijas biedrus ar jaunām tendencēm zemūdens sporta aprīkojuma izgatavošanā, kā arī palīdzēt Federācijas biediem iegādāties vajadzīgo aprīkojumu; Organizēt Zemūdens sporta kausus, seminārus un cita veida apmācību. |
