| Goals | Nacionālās tirdzniecības flotes jūrnieku tradīciju atjaunošana, latviešu valodas nostiprināšana praktiskā darbā uz kuģiem ar Latvijas karogu, jūrniecības terminoloģijas izstrādāšana, mācību grāmatu un vārdnīcu radīšana un izdošana, jūrniecības jautājumiem veltīto preses izdevumu, radio un televīzijas raidījumu un mākslinieku - marinistu atbalstīšana; Iepazīstināt pasaules jūras valstis ar Latvijas jūrnieku un tirdzniecības flotes likteni XX gadsimtā, nest Latvijas kā jūras valsts tēlu pasaulē, organizējot seminārus, konferences, jūras svētku svinēšanu Latvijā un citus pasākumus par jūrnieku un kuģošanas problēmām; jūrniecības izglītības un zinātnes veicināšana, stipendiju un pabalstu izmaksu iedibināšana jūrniekiem-kadetiem (studentiem); Latvijas Tirdzniecības flotes kuģošanas vēstures pētīšana sadarbībā ar kuģniecības muzejiem un viņu atbalstīšana, palīdzēt atgriezt Latvijā ārzemēs esošās jūrniecības kultūrvēsturiskās vērtības un nodot tās Latvijas Republikas jūrniecības muzejiem; labdarības pasākumu organizēšana, tirdzniecības flotes pensionēto jūrnieku, jūrnieku invalīdu un bojā gājušo jūrnieku ģimeņu atbalstīšana. |
