| Goals | Biedrības darbības mērķis ir sekmēt Latvijas iedzīvotāju sociāli ekonomiskai, politiskai un kulturālai integrācijai Eiropas kopienā. Lai panāktu izvirzīto mērķi tiek nosprausti šādi uzdevumi: 1. Apkopot un piedāvāt informāciju par Eiropas Savienību kopumā un par Eiropas kopienas valstīm konkrēti; 2. Juridisko un fizisko personu informēšana par Latvijas sabiedrības sociāli ekonomisko, politisko, kulturālo attiecību un izglītības specifiku; 3. Organizēt seminārus, lekcijas, izstādes, forumus, konkursus, kā arī cita veida pasākumus, kas sekmē Latvijas iedzīvotāju integrāciju Eiropas kopienas sabiedriski ekonomisko attiecību sistēmā; 4. Sadarbībā ar Eiropsa valstu juridiskām un fiziskām personām organizēt dažāda veida formālos un neformālos pasākumus, kas palīdz iepazīties ar Eiropas subjektu sociālām, kulturālām, politiskām, ekonomiskām un izglītības īpatnībām; 5. Organizēt pētniecisko darbību, kas ietver sevī dažāda veida aptaujas un fokus-grupas ar mērķi palielināt piedāvātās informācijas daudzumu un kvalitāti sociāli ekonomiskās, politiskās, kulturālās un izglītības integrācijas jautājumos; 6. Piedalīties dažāda veida sociālā rakstura programmās un projektu izstrādāšanas konkursos Eiropas Savienības, Latvijas nacionālā un pašvaldības līmenī, kuru mērķis ir dažāda līmeņa iedzīvotāju daudzpusīga sabiedriskā integrācija, kā arī ņemt dalību līdzīgu programmu un projektu īstenošanā vadošās organizācijas vai partnera lomā. |
