| Goals | Biedrības pamatmērķis ir veicināt endokrīno slimību zinātnisko izpēti Latvijā un starptautiskā mērogā, attīstot zināšanas par šo slimību cēloņiem, diagnostikas iespējām, ārstēšanas metodēm un profilaksi. Biedrības apakšmērķi ir: Organizēt un atbalstīt zinātniskos pētījumus par endokrīnām slimībām, tostarp pamata, klīniskos un translacionālos pētījumus; Veicināt datu vākšanu un analīzi, izveidojot reģistrus, datubāzes un citus pētniecības rīkus endokrīno slimību izpētei; Sekmēt starpdisciplināru sadarbību starp pētniekiem, ārstiem, bioinformātiķiem, farmācijas un veselības nozares pārstāvjiem; Izstrādāt un publicēt zinātniskus materiālus, tostarp publikācijas, metodoloģijas aprakstus un rekomendācijas; Atbalstīt jauno pētnieku iesaisti endokrinoloģijas jomā, piemēram, piedāvājot stipendijas, mentoringu un līdzdalību projektos; Organizēt zinātniskas konferences un seminārus, prezentējot jaunākos pētījumu rezultātus un veicinot sadarbību; Veidot sadarbību ar Latvijas un ārvalstu zinātniskajām institūcijām, universitātēm un citām pētniecības organizācijām, kā arī ar veselības nozares organizācijām; Piesaistīt finansējumu endokrīno slimību pētniecības projektu īstenošanai no valsts, starptautiskajiem fondiem vai privātajiem atbalstītājiem; Sniegt ekspertu atzinumus par veselības politikas jautājumiem, kas skar endokrīno slimību jomu, un pārstāvēt Biedrības viedokli un intereses valsts un pašvaldību iestādēs. |
