Izstrādāt un kontrolēt brūču un izgulējumu pareizas ārstēšanas un profilakses algoritmos. Veikt brūču un izgulējumu ārstēšanas profesionāļu apmācību, realizēt sadarbību profesionāļu vidū valsts un pasaules mērogā. Veikt brūču un izgulējumu ārstēšanas kvalitātes kontroli. Ieviest brūču un izgulējumu profilaksi, tai skaitā pacientu apmācību. Paaugstināt profesionāļu, kas nodarbojas ar brūču un izgulējumu pacientu ārstēšanu, profesionālo sagatavotību. Izstrādāt brūču un izgulējumu ārstēšanas stratēģijas kritērijus un vadlīnijas, ietverot medicīniskus, sociālus un uz izmaksu pamatotību balstītus ārstēšanas pamatprincipus. Izveidot, sakārtot un uzturēt uz reālājām izmaksām un izmaksu efektivitāti balstītu brūču un izgulējumu pacientu aprūpes sistēmu Latvijas Republikā. Pēc pacientu lūguma pārstāvēt pacientu intereses valsts, privātās un citās institūcijās, kas atbildīgas par brūču un izgulējumu slimības ārstēšanu, ārstēšanas apmaksu, ārstēšanas stratēģijas plānošanu valsts mērogā u.c. ar šo problēmu saistītiem pasākumiem. |
